April General Membership Meeting | “Going Green in 2024: How the Housing Industry Is Adapting to Solar, EVs, Biofuels, and Heat Pumps”
Our April 2024 Membership Meeting is taking place on Thursday, April 18th at 6PM on Zoom.
The topic for this month is “Going Green in 2024: How the Housing Industry Is Adapting to Solar, EVs, Biofuels, and Heat Pumps”
State & federal policymakers continue to produce more incentives to encourage those in the building, housing, and commercial sector to reduce greenhouse gases by upgrading their electrical, heating, and cooling systems or offer new amenities for tenants and residents, like electric vehicle charging stations.
At the same time, we’re seeing more government mandates through the All-Electrification Act, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, and the New York City-only Local Law 97 which would force property owners, property managers, and builders to go green – whether they’re ready or not.
How can you stay ahead of the curve? And what are the trends happening in our region in 2024 that can help you decide whether now is the time for your business, organization, or residence to take the carrot and avoid the future stick?
Our panel of experts will discuss how you might benefit from incentives and financing for solar panels, EV charging stations, biofuels, and heat pumps.
