Our Topic Will Be: “Meet the 32BJ SEIU Team”

Every four years, representatives from the BRI meet with a negotiating team from the labor union 32BJ SEIU and work in good faith to reach a fair deal for both sides to extend the collective bargaing agreement for 1,400 building service workers in the co-ops, condos, and apartment buildings throughout the Hudson Valley. The rest of the time, labor attorney Matthew Persanis and the team from 32BJ handle issues with the contract as they arise, and also collaborate on education, training, and advocacy to maintain housing that is secure, dignified, and affordable in Westchester and beyond.

For our annual ACMA Luncheon, we’ve invited the 32BJ team to present on the the union’s efforts here in the Hudson Valley and throughout New York State.

We’ll begin with informal networking and lunch at 12:00 Noon.
The main program will begin at 12:45 PM.
